Metro Vancouver is in the process of finalizing a detailed proposed budget for 2012.

Metro Vancouver’s 2012 budget will continue to support the pursuit of a sustainable region, based on the region’s solid financial foundation and its use of prudent debt and financial management principles and practices. The budget will include both operating and capital expenditures for the four entities that make up Metro Vancouver: the Greater Vancouver Regional District, the Greater Vancouver Water District, the Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District, and the Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation.

This year we hosted our public consultation online.

The public consultation is now closed. We will be hosting a Budget Workshop on October 19, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Metro Vancouver Boardroom.
