Langley Town Centre
Langley Town Centre is the regional hub for the City of Langley and the Township of Langley. Since its boundaries include lands in both communities, all planning is a result of collaborations between the two communities.

As a centre for commerce and industry, the Centre contains over 5,300,000 square feet of commercial floor space, and houses the majority of its retail services. The Town Centre also includes an office inventory and a significant proportion of industrial space. A pedestrian-focused development style complements the Centre's small shops, restaurants, cafes and professional offices.

Housing
Langley Housing Chart
Langley offers a range of housing options, from garden apartments and condominiums to large lot single family residences. The number of apartment units (less than five storeys) has signicantly increased over the last 10 years.
Jobs
Langley Jobs Chart
Langley provides a significant amount of office space. Most office space is filled by lawyers, medical offices, and small businesses that serve local needs.
Population
Langley’s adult population is spread between all age groups, though the 35 to 49 and 50 to 64 age groups have grown most rapidly. The wide range of housing and services are likely to continue to attract both groups.
Transportation
Suburban express buses and the regional highway network connect Langley Town Centre to other regional town centres and Downtown Vancouver . The Fraser Highway and Highway 10A transect the town centre and provide easy connections to Highway 1, and Langley Town Centre is also close to the U.S. border.

The City has recently implemented traffic calming and traffic management projects in the Town Centre to improve walkability, safety and the centre’s overall appearance.
Community facilities
Langley Town Centre offers the services of a large city while maintaining the livability of a small community. This includes close proximity to schools, post-secondary institutions and hospitals; access to growing employment opportunities; a regional business and commercial centre; and efficient municipal services.
Surrounded by some of Metro Vancouver's most picturesque farms and orchards, Langley Town Centre offers residents a new City Hall building, a public library, the Timms Community Centre, and several parks and private recreation facilities.
Commercial-retail/offices
Langley Town Centre has long functioned as the area's commercial hub and continues to provide residents with a wide variety of shops, services, and facilities. Much of the area's retail is focused in the Willowbrook Shopping Centre or along the Fraser Highway, which traverses the centre and functions as its main street.
Since 1991 Langley Town Centre has substantially increased the amount of retail/commercial and shopping centre floorspace, although Langley Town Centre has not attracted the scale of office development as other regional town centres. Ongoing Town Centre revitalization projects have helped revitalize the area and attract new businesses to the community.
