The area known as Lang Nursery has been redeveloped in the last decade into an area that contains a variety of residential and commercial uses. The mall is a curvilinear three-storey building set back about 6 metres from the curb on the free flanking streets with plazas at the three main entries. The interior activities are revealed through extensive glazing that opens views to the inside. The Centre's circulation is organized around a central square, which acts as the "heart" of the Centre. The unusual aspect of the Centre's circulation is that it is open for the full three stories of the building allowing views to the different levels of retail. As well, the circulation opens to the street physically and visually. This gesture links the Centre to the streets allowing views into its activities and passage through the Centre. Through a ground floor that is continuous with the surrounding sidewalks and the use of multiple entries, the Centre becomes anchored to the street.
